Secretary's Profile
Name: Anna Giesbrecht
Position: Secretary
Major: Peace and Conflict Studies major, International Development minor (Co-Op)
Age: 19
From: Mississauga, Ontario
Languages spoken: English...and a dash of French...a a pinch of German (like two words worth)
Hobbies: Photography, reading, I enjoy all kinds of music (I also know how to play the flute)
Why Rotaract: The opportunity to be apart of Rotaract came up during my first year, second term. I didn't know anything about up until this point but was interested to see what it was all about. What I learned was that Rotaract is about helping and supporting people, locally and internationally, and engaging with your community. For a little while before this I had been feeling like I wanted to find a way to practically help others while at university. Rotaract seemed like a good fit. Thus here I am. This will be my first year in Rotaract and I'm excited for everything it will bring, from fun to challenge.
